SAWALAB (Hideyuki Sawada Laboratory) は、2017年 早稲田大学 先進理工学部 応用物理学科 情報物理工学部門の一研究室として活動を始めました。研究活動は、ロボティクス、画像情報処理、音楽・マルチメディア、触覚情報処理、ニューラルネットワーク、ケミカルロボティクスと多岐にわたっています。また本研究室は、早稲田大学ヒューマノイド研究所に所属しており、ヒューマノイドロボットの視覚系と情緒系を主に担当し、環境認識、人間認識、および感性インタフェースの研究を行ってきました。このような要素技術の研究分野は、「ヒューマン情報処理」にあたります。これらを基礎とし、人間の知情意と機械系が調和する環境の実現を目指しています。

 

 

 

SAWALAB (Hideyuki Sawada Laboratory) started working in 2017 as a laboratory of Information Physics Engineering Department, Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Advanced Science and Engineering, Waseda University. Research activities range from robotics, image processing, music and multimedia, tactile information processing, neural networks, and chemical robotics. In addition, this laboratory belongs to Waseda University Humanoid Research Institute, mainly in charge of visual system and emotional system of humanoid robot, and has been researching environmental recognition, human recognition and sensitivity interface. The research field of such elemental technology corresponds to “human information processing”. Based on these, we aim to create an environment in which human intelligence and mechanical systems are in harmony.
