Research activities range from robotics, image processing, music and multimedia, tactile information processing, neural networks, and chemical robotics. In addition, this laboratory belongs to Waseda University Humanoid Research Institute, mainly in charge of visual system and emotional system of humanoid robot, and has been researching environmental recognition, human recognition and sensitivity interface. The research field of such elemental technology corresponds to \u201chuman information processing\u201d.
